A turning point came in 1989 when Roberto Gavazzi took the lead, guiding the company towards a holistic approach to interior design—offering not just furniture, but a full way of living that blends aesthetics, function, and emotion.

Over the years, iconic collaborations and strategic choices—such as appointing Piero Lissoni as art director and redefining the distribution model—have reinforced Boffi’s leadership. In 2015, the acquisition of De Padova marked a new chapter: the creation of Boffi|DePadova, a unique platform that merges industrial production with artisanal sensitivity.
