A different kind of space
For a high-end residential tower in New York, the Zaha Hadid Design practice developed with Boffi the streamlined Cove kitchen island. The model features a sleek countertop that is carved to create a void in the front. The freestanding unit features fluid geometric lines that integrate seamlessly with the residence’s orthogonal, yet soft, edges. The elegant contrast between the white Corian and dark wood veneer is testament to Boffi’s exceptional detailing and craftsmanship.
“As an architect and designer, Zaha Hadid’s work explored spatial concepts at all scales from the city to individual product – sculptural jewelry and limited edition furniture pieces, homeware items and fashion accessories - as well as interior, exhibition and set design commissions.” - Maha Kutay – Zaha Hadid Design
