A ground-floor London apartment is given a refreshing contemporary facelift while retaining a cosy atmosphere. The living area features a chocolate brown Square 16 sofa from De Padova in soft leather for a casual, lived-in look. To add a subtle contrast, the sofa faces a minimalist R.I.G. modular shelving system from MA/U Studio done in a black matte colour scheme that supplies a touch of rigour to the room and acts as a centrepiece. Set off to the side is a Vidun round table from De Padova that provides a decorative touch with its contemporary sculptural form.
To maximise the residence’s reduced footprint, the kitchen boasts a K14 system from Boffi. The clean, compact aesthetic of the modular unit features the characteristic top bevelled edges. The model incorporates seamlessly into the narrow, rectangular space to maximise functionality. The understated atmosphere of the residence is reinforced with a quiet colour palette that emphasises cool greys, white and black tones to project a soothing ambience.
